Clotrimazole Cream Clotrimazole 10mg (1%)

Indication

Treatment of fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes and Candida including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris, candidal intertrigo, and pityriasis versicolor.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 10mg per gram (1%) cream

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin twice daily (morning and evening). Clean and dry the area before application. Treat for at least 2–4 weeks and continue for 2 weeks after symptoms resolve to prevent relapse.

Side effects

• Mild burning
• stinging
• or erythema at application site.
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Not for vaginal use unless directed by a doctor.
• If no improvement after 4 weeks
• consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
