Indication
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), peptic ulcer disease, and H. pylori eradication (in combination therapy).
Ingredients
- Omeprazole 20mg
Direction
Take 1 capsule once daily, 30 minutes before a meal. Swallow whole — do not crush or chew. Treatment duration as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Headache
- Nausea and diarrhoea
- Abdominal pain
- Hypomagnesaemia with prolonged use
Precautions
- Long
- term use may reduce magnesium and vitamin B12 levels.
- May mask signs of gastric malignancy.
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment.
- May reduce absorption of drugs dependent on gastric pH.
