Indication
Emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure.
Ingredients
- Levonorgestrel 1.5mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet as soon as possible, within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex. The sooner taken, the more effective it is.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Irregular menstrual bleeding
- Fatigue and dizziness
- Breast tenderness
- Lower abdominal pain
Precautions
- Not for use as regular contraception.
- Not effective if pregnancy has already occurred.
- Use with caution in women with cardiovascular disease
- liver problems
- or unexplained vaginal bleeding.
- May reduce effectiveness in women weighing over 75 kg.
- Consult a doctor if vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet.
