Indication

Emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure.

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 1.5mg

Direction

Take 1 tablet as soon as possible, within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex. The sooner taken, the more effective it is.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Irregular menstrual bleeding
• Fatigue and dizziness
• Breast tenderness
• Lower abdominal pain

Precautions

• Not for use as regular contraception.
• Not effective if pregnancy has already occurred.
• Use with caution in women with cardiovascular disease
• liver problems
• or unexplained vaginal bleeding.
• May reduce effectiveness in women weighing over 75 kg.
• Consult a doctor if vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet.
