Indication
Treatment of intestinal worm infections including roundworm (ascariasis), hookworm, whipworm, and pinworm in children and adults.
Ingredients
- Albendazole 200mg per 5ml suspension
Direction
Children 1–2 years: 200mg (5ml) as a single dose. Children over 2 years and adults: 400mg (10ml) as a single dose. Take with food, especially fatty food, to improve absorption.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Not recommended in children under 1 year.
- Contraindicated in pregnancy — ensure adequate contraception.
- Shake well before use.
- May be repeated after 2–3 weeks if needed.
