Indication

Antiseptic and enzyme-based treatment for mouth and throat infections including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and oral mucosal inflammation.

Ingredients

• Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.5mg
• Lysozyme 40mg (equivalent to 520
• 000 FIP units)

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours. Do not exceed 8 lozenges per day. Do not chew.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• Rarely: mild oral irritation
• Rarely: hypersensitivity reactions

Precautions

• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe or persists beyond 5–7 days.
• Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
• Contains sugars — caution in diabetic patients (check formulation).
