H. Pylori Treatment Kit Omeprazole 20mg + Tinidazole 500mg + Clarithromycin 250mg

Indication

Triple therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with peptic ulcer disease or H. pylori-positive gastritis.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20mg
• Tinidazole 500mg
• Clarithromycin 250mg

Direction

Take all three components twice daily for 7 days (or as directed by physician), before meals. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Metallic taste
• Abdominal discomfort
• Headache
• Diarrhoea
• Rarely: C. difficile colitis

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol during and for 72 hours after completing tinidazole.
• Do not use in patients allergic to macrolide antibiotics or nitroimidazoles.
• Clarithromycin may interact with many drugs — check for interactions.
• Monitor for signs of antibiotic
• associated diarrhoea.
• Contraindicated in pregnancy.
