Indication
Relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, gastritis, and flatulence associated with gastric hyperacidity and peptic ulcer.
Ingredients
- Aluminium hydroxide 320mg
- Magnesium hydroxide 100mg
- Simethicone 20mg per 5ml
Direction
Take 10–20ml (2–4 teaspoons) four times daily, 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Constipation (aluminium component)
- Diarrhoea (magnesium component)
- Nausea
Precautions
- Avoid taking within 2 hours of other oral medications.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
- Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
