Indication

Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (vaginal yeast infections) and other fungal infections caused by Candida species.

Ingredients

• Fluconazole 100mg

Direction

For vaginal candidiasis: take one tablet (150mg usually, or as directed) orally as a single dose. Use as directed by a healthcare provider.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Headache
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Skin rash
• Elevated liver enzymes with prolonged use

Precautions

• Avoid concurrent use with cisapride
• astemizole
• or pimozide.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
• Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
• Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking due to potential drug interactions.
