Indication

Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children. Also used for relief of esophageal, gastric, and intestinal mucosal irritation.

Ingredients

• Dioctahedral smectite 3g per 20ml suspension

Direction

Adults: Take 1 sachet or 20ml suspension 3 times daily. Children: dose varies by age as directed by a physician. Shake well before use. Take between meals.

Side effects

• Constipation (with high doses)
• Mild abdominal discomfort

Precautions

• Take other medications at least 2 hours before or after this product to avoid reduced absorption.
• Maintain adequate fluid intake during diarrhea.
• Consult a physician if diarrhea persists beyond 2 days or is accompanied by high fever.
