AMPIMASTER 500mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, meningitis, gonorrhea, and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Ampicillin 500mg

Direction

Adults: Take 250–500mg orally every 6 hours, 30–60 minutes before meals. Complete the full prescribed course of treatment.

• Urticaria
• Abdominal discomfort
• Rarely
• anaphylaxis or pseudomembranous colitis

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with a history of penicillin hypersensitivity.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
• May reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptives.
• Complete the full course of treatment to prevent antibiotic resistance.
• Discontinue immediately if a skin rash develops and seek medical attention.
