Indication
Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, musculoskeletal pain, dysmenorrhea) and reduction of fever. Also used for inflammatory conditions.
Ingredients
- Ibuprofen 400mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed with food or milk. Do not exceed 3 tablets (1200mg) in 24 hours without medical advice.
Side effects
- Gastric irritation
- Nausea
- Heartburn
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Rare: gastrointestinal bleeding
- renal impairment
- cardiovascular events with long
- term use
Precautions
- Avoid in patients with active peptic ulcer
- severe renal/hepatic impairment
- or known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
- Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
- asthma
- or hypertension.
- Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy.
- Do not use concurrently with other NSAIDs.
- Take with food or milk to minimize gastric irritation.
