Cloderm cream 0.025% w/w

Indication

Short-term treatment of inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions that are responsive to topical corticosteroids, including psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis.

Ingredients

• Clobetasol propionate 0.025% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily. Gently massage in. Do not use for longer than 4 consecutive weeks. Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed.

Side effects

• Skin thinning (atrophy)
• Striae
• Burning or stinging sensation
• Itching
• Skin dryness
• Systemic effects with prolonged extensive use

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on the face
• groin
• or underarms unless specifically directed.
• Avoid use on infected skin without concurrent antimicrobial therapy.
• Prolonged use can cause skin thinning
• striae
• and systemic effects.
• Not recommended in children under 12 years.
• Use with caution during pregnancy.
