Indication
Relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 100mg
Direction
Infants and young children: Dose based on body weight (10–15mg/kg every 4–6 hours as needed). Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Give orally with water or juice.
Side effects
- Rare at therapeutic doses: skin rash
- nausea
- Hepatotoxicity with overdose
Precautions
- Do not give with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Use with caution in children with hepatic impairment.
- Do not exceed recommended dose.
- Consult a physician if fever persists beyond 3 days or pain does not improve.
