Axcel Paracetamol 250mg/5ml, 60ml

Indication

Axcel Paracetamol Suspension (250 mg/5 mL) is an analgesic and antipyretic used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in children. It is indicated for headache, toothache, earache, teething pain, sore throat, and fever associated with colds and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 250 mg/5 mL

Direction

Children 6–12 years: 5–10 mL (250–500 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed, maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Use the dosing spoon or syringe provided. May be given with or without food.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses.
• Skin rash or allergic reactions (uncommon).
• Hepatotoxicity with overdose.

Precautions

• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products — risk of overdose.
• Avoid in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Seek immediate medical advice if overdose is suspected.
• Keep out of reach of children.
