Indication
Woods Peppermint Antitussive Syrup is used to relieve cough symptoms, soothe the throat, and aid expectoration of mucus in productive cough associated with colds, upper respiratory tract infections, and bronchitis.
Ingredients
- Peppermint oil
- Menthol
- Guaifenesin (expectorant component — concentration not confirmed)
Direction
Adults: as directed on labelling (typically 1–2 teaspoonfuls up to 4 times daily). Children: as directed by a physician. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Nausea (uncommon).
- Mild gastrointestinal discomfort.
Precautions
- Not recommended for dry
- non
- productive cough or cough due to asthma without medical advice.
- If cough persists for more than 1 week or is associated with fever
- seek medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children.
