Ameflu 500mg/25mg/5mg

Indication

Ameflu is a combination cold and flu remedy used for symptomatic relief of fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and headache associated with the common cold and influenza.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 25 mg
• Caffeine 5 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children 6–12 years: half tablet every 6–8 hours under medical supervision.

Side effects

• Drowsiness

• Dizziness.
• Insomnia due to caffeine content.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended paracetamol dose
• avoid other paracetamol
• containing products simultaneously.
• May cause drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Contains caffeine
• limit caffeine from other sources.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
