Nanpiran 10mg

Indication

Nanpiran is a dopamine antagonist used for the symptomatic relief of nausea, vomiting, bloating, and epigastric discomfort. It promotes gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet (10 mg) up to 3 times daily, taken 15–30 minutes before meals. Maximum 30 mg per day. Use for the shortest duration necessary.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• headache.
• Raised prolactin levels with prolonged use.
• Rare: QT prolongation
• cardiac arrhythmia.

Precautions

• Not recommended for patients with known QT prolongation or serious cardiac conditions.
• Avoid in patients with prolactin
• secreting tumour.
• Use with caution in renal or hepatic impairment.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
