Indication
Relief of bronchospasm in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other reversible airways obstruction.
Ingredients
- Salbutamol 2mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 2β4 mg three to four times daily. Children 6β12 years: 2 mg three to four times daily. Take orally as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Tremor (especially of the hands).
- Palpitations and tachycardia.
- Headache.
- Muscle cramps.
- Hypokalemia with high doses.
- Nervousness or restlessness.
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with heart disease
- hypertension
- hyperthyroidism
- or diabetes.
- May cause paradoxical bronchospasm
- discontinue immediately.
- Avoid excessive use
- tolerance and loss of effectiveness may develop.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
