Indication
- Anxiety disorders - Short-term relief of anxiety symptoms - Acute alcohol withdrawal - Skeletal muscle spasm - Adjunct therapy for convulsive disorders
Ingredients
- Diazepam
Direction
Take orally as directed by a physician, usually 2 to 4 times daily depending on the condition being treated. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Fatigue
- Muscle weakness
- Ataxia (impaired coordination)
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Risk of physical and psychological dependence
- Do not consume alcohol during use
- May cause severe respiratory depression
- Do not drive or operate machinery
- Avoid abrupt discontinuation after long
- term use
