Indication
Treatment of haemorrhage, or threatened haemorrhage associated with excessive fibrinolysis. Also used in the management of haemophiliacs undergoing dental extractions, and in the prophylaxis of hereditary angioedema.
Ingredients
- Tranexamic Acid 250mg
Direction
Adult dose: 4 to 6 capsules to be taken two to three times daily. Dosage should be according to patient's age and symptoms. Refer to enclosed leaflet for more details.
Side effects
- Common: nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- headache. Rare: thromboembolic events (DVT
- PE
- stroke)
- visual disturbances
- seizures.
Precautions
- Keep medicine out of reach of children. Gelatin source on capsule shell: bovine.
