Indication
Bacterial infections susceptible to cefoperazone-sulbactam
Ingredients
- Cefoperazone Sodium USP eq. to Cefoperazone 500mg
- Sulbactam Sodium USP eq. to Sulbactam 500mg + Sterilised Water for Injections BP 10ml
Direction
As directed by Registered Medical Practitioner. Prepare solution by dissolving the content of vial in sterilised Water for Injections. The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation. Refer package insert before Administration.
Side effects
- Common: diarrhea
- nausea
- vomiting
- injection site pain
- rash. Rare: C. difficile colitis
- bleeding (vitamin K interference)
- anaphylaxis
- hepatotoxicity.
Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children. For IM/IV Use. Rx
- Prescription only.
