Indication
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when combination therapy is required
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5mg
- Losartan Potassium 50mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet once daily with or without food, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole with water.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- headache
- peripheral edema
- fatigue
- flushing
- nasal congestion. Rare: hypotension
- hyperkalemia.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy (especially 2nd and 3rd trimester). Monitor renal function and potassium levels. Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or aortic/mitral stenosis.
