Indication
Relief of occasional constipation, bowel cleansing before medical procedures or examinations
Ingredients
- Monobasic Sodium Phosphate + Dibasic Sodium Phosphate
Direction
Adults: Administer full contents rectally as a single dose. Retain as long as possible (usually 2-5 minutes). Children: Use only as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Abdominal cramps
- rectal irritation
- nausea
- bloating
- electrolyte disturbances with repeated use
Precautions
- Not for prolonged use. Contraindicated in intestinal obstruction. Use with caution in renal impairment
- heart failure
- and elderly patients. Risk of serious electrolyte abnormalities.
