Indication
Relief of nausea and vomiting. Treatment of symptoms of gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying) including bloating and fullness.
Ingredients
- Domperidone 5mg/5ml (1mg/ml)
Direction
Adults: 10ml (10mg) 3-4 times daily, 15-30 minutes before meals. Children: 0.25mg/kg body weight 3-4 times daily before meals. Maximum treatment duration: 1 week.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- headache
- abdominal cramps
- diarrhea. Rare: cardiac arrhythmias
- galactorrhea
- breast tenderness.
Precautions
- Do not use in patients with known cardiac conditions
- prolactinoma
- or GI hemorrhage/obstruction. Avoid in hepatic impairment. Limit treatment duration.
