Indication

Oral contraceptive

Ingredients

• Desogestrel 0.15mg
• Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03mg

Direction

Take a small white tablet on the first day of menstruation, take a tablet every day in the direction indicated by arrows, with or immediately after food or at bedtime, at the same time each day. After finishing 28 tabs, start a new pack the next day.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in women with a history of or current thromboembolic disorders (deep vein thrombosis
• pulmonary embolism).
• Contraindicated in women with a history of stroke or coronary artery disease.
• Contraindicated in women with known or suspected breast cancer or other hormone
• sensitive malignancies.
• Contraindicated in women with undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding.
• Contraindicated in women with active liver disease or liver tumors.
• Contraindicated in women who are pregnant or suspect pregnancy.
• Smokers aged 35 years and over should use an alternative method of contraception due to increased risk of serious cardiovascular side effects.
• Blood pressure should be checked before starting and during use
• discontinue if sustained hypertension develops.
• May reduce the efficacy of the pill if taken with enzyme
• inducing drugs (e.g.
• rifampicin
• certain anticonvulsants
• St. John's Wort).
• Does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections.
• Discontinue immediately if signs of thrombosis occur (severe chest pain
• sudden shortness of breath
• leg pain or swelling
• visual disturbances).
• Use with caution in women with diabetes
• migraine with aura
• or hyperlipidaemia.
• Keep out of reach of children.
