Indication
Mucolytic - reduces viscosity of mucus
Ingredients
- Carbocysteine 250mg per 5ml
Direction
Raspberry flavoured syrup. 60ml. Contains 5% alcohol.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Uncommon: nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- epigastric discomfort.
- Rare: allergic skin reactions.
- Rare: headache.
Precautions
- Be cautious in use due to 5% alcohol content
