Indication
Antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders, post-operative pain, dental pain, dysmenorrhoea, and for the reduction of fever.
Ingredients
- Diclofenac Sodium BP 50mg
- Paracetamol BP 500mg
Direction
Adults: One or two tablets 3-4 times a day or as directed by the physician. If symptoms persist for more than 2 days of treatment, consult a physician. Do not exceed the stated dose. To be taken with or after food.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset such as nausea
- vomiting
- dyspepsia and abdominal pain
- Peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding (rare)
- Headache
- dizziness
- Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
- Elevation of liver enzymes
- Fluid retention
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac
- paracetamol or other NSAIDs
- Avoid in active peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment
- Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease or hypertension
- Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy
- use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision
- Do not combine with other paracetamol
- containing products to avoid overdose
- Keep all medicines out of the reach of children
