Indication

Antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders, post-operative pain, dental pain, dysmenorrhoea, and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Diclofenac Sodium BP 50mg
• Paracetamol BP 500mg

Direction

Adults: One or two tablets 3-4 times a day or as directed by the physician. If symptoms persist for more than 2 days of treatment, consult a physician. Do not exceed the stated dose. To be taken with or after food.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset such as nausea
• vomiting
• dyspepsia and abdominal pain
• Peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding (rare)
• Headache
• dizziness
• Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
• Elevation of liver enzymes
• Fluid retention

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac
• paracetamol or other NSAIDs
• Avoid in active peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease or hypertension
• Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy
• use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision
• Do not combine with other paracetamol
• containing products to avoid overdose
• Keep all medicines out of the reach of children
