Indication
B Calcium KANA is an oral calcium and vitamin supplement used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency and to supply vitamins PP (Nicotinamide) and B1 (Thiamine). It supports bone and teeth development, helps with convalescence, pregnancy and lactation, growth in children, fatigue, and conditions with increased demand for calcium and B-group vitamins.
Ingredients
- Calcium gluconate
- Calcium lactate
- Vitamin PP (Nicotinamide)
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
Direction
Oral solution. Shake the ampoule gently before use; open the ampoule carefully and drink directly or dilute in a small amount of water. DO NOT INJECT. Adults: 1-2 ampoules per day. Children 6-12 years: 1 ampoule per day. Children 2-5 years: 1/2 ampoule per day. Use for 2-4 weeks or as directed by a physician. Use shortly after opening.
Side effects
- Mild gastrointestinal discomfort
- nausea or constipation
- Flushing sensation from Nicotinamide at high doses (uncommon at supplemental doses)
- Rarely
- hypersensitivity reactions
Precautions
- Oral use only
- do not inject
- Not recommended in patients with hypercalcaemia
- severe hypercalciuria
- kidney stones containing calcium
- or severe renal impairment
- Use with caution in patients on cardiac glycosides (digoxin) or thiazide diuretics
- Take calcium at least 2 hours apart from tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics
- iron salts
- and thyroid hormone
- Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision
- Store in a dry place
