Indication
Potent antitussive and expectorant. Cough and sputum.
Ingredients
- Dihydrocodeine bitartrate 5 mg
- Guaifenesin 50 mg
- DL
- Methylephedrine HCl 17.5 mg
- Chlorpheniramine maleate 1.5 mg
Direction
Adults: 2 tablets orally, 3 times a day. Children 8-11 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day. Children 11-15 years: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- sedation (dihydrocodeine + chlorpheniramine).
- Dizziness
- blurred vision.
- Nausea
- vomiting
- constipation (opioid).
- Dry mouth
- urinary retention (antihistamine).
- Palpitations
- elevated blood pressure (methylephedrine).
- Insomnia
- restlessness (sympathomimetic).
- Dependence risk with prolonged opioid use.
