Indication

Potent antitussive and expectorant. Cough and sputum.

Ingredients
  • Dihydrocodeine bitartrate 5 mg
  • Guaifenesin 50 mg
  • DL
  • Methylephedrine HCl 17.5 mg
  • Chlorpheniramine maleate 1.5 mg
Direction

Adults: 2 tablets orally, 3 times a day. Children 8-11 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day. Children 11-15 years: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.

Side effects
  • Drowsiness
  • sedation (dihydrocodeine + chlorpheniramine).
  • Dizziness
  • blurred vision.
  • Nausea
  • vomiting
  • constipation (opioid).
  • Dry mouth
  • urinary retention (antihistamine).
  • Palpitations
  • elevated blood pressure (methylephedrine).
  • Insomnia
  • restlessness (sympathomimetic).
  • Dependence risk with prolonged opioid use.
