Indication

Eagle Brand Aktiv Balm is a topical analgesic and counter-irritant used for temporary relief of minor muscular aches, pains, and stiffness; joint pain; backache; bruising; insect bites; and headache.

Ingredients

• Methyl Salicylate
• Menthol
• Eucalyptus Oil

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage gently until absorbed. Use up to 3–4 times daily. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken or irritated skin.

Side effects

• Skin irritation

• or burning sensation at application site.
• Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).
• Absorption of methyl salicylate may occur through large areas — avoid overuse.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes

• Do not use with a heating pad or tight bandage over the treated area — risk of burns.
• Do not use in children under 12 years without medical advice.
