Indication

Tamsolin-S combines tamsulosin (alpha-1A blocker) and solifenacin succinate (muscarinic antagonist) for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), particularly when combined storage symptoms (urgency, frequency) and voiding symptoms coexist.

Ingredients
  • Tamsulosin Hydrochloride
  • Solifenacin Succinate
Direction

Adults: 1 tablet (tamsulosin 0.4 mg + solifenacin 6 mg) once daily, taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

  • Dry mouth.
  • Constipation.
  • Dizziness
  • orthostatic hypotension.
  • Retrograde ejaculation.
  • Headache.
  • Blurred vision.
  • Urinary retention (paradoxical
  • rare).
  • Nausea.
  • Dyspepsia.
Precautions
  • Not for use in women or children.
  • Contraindicated in severe hepatic impairment.
  • Use with caution in patients with urinary retention

  • or myasthenia gravis.
  • Risk of orthostatic hypotension (dizziness on standing).
  • May cause QT prolongation — use with caution with other QT
  • prolonging drugs.
  • Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS) — inform ophthalmologist before cataract surgery.
  • Avoid concurrent use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
  • Caution in patients with renal impairment.
