Prospan Cough Syrup 0.7 g / 100 mL

Indication

Treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis and other respiratory tract conditions associated with productive cough. Ivy leaf extract acts as a mucolytic and spasmolytic, loosening mucus and facilitating expectoration.

Ingredients

• Hedera Helix Leaf Dry Extract

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 5–7.5 mL three times daily. Children 6–12 years: 4 mL three times daily. Children 1–6 years: 2.5 mL three times daily. Take with plenty of fluid. Shake gently before use.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ivy or other plants in the Araliaceae family.
• If cough persists beyond 2 weeks or is accompanied by fever
• shortness of breath
• or purulent sputum
• consult a physician.
• Use with caution in patients with gastric ulcers.
• Contains alcohol (if formulation includes it — check label)
• avoid in patients with alcohol
• related conditions.
