Indication
Vaginal tablets for local treatment of vaginitis caused by susceptible organisms (mixed bacterial, fungal, and trichomonal infections).
Ingredients
- Ternidazole 200 mg
- Neomycin sulfate 100 mg
- Nystatin 100000 IU
- Prednisolone 3 mg
Direction
Insert one vaginal tablet intravaginally as directed by a physician. Moisten the tablet briefly before insertion.
Side effects
- Local vaginal burning
- itching
- or irritation.
- Increased vaginal discharge.
- Pelvic discomfort.
- Allergic reactions to neomycin (contact sensitisation).
- Prolonged corticosteroid (prednisolone) use may mask local infections.
- Rare: systemic absorption with prolonged use.
Precautions
- Read carefully the leaflet before use. Do not swallow. Strictly follow the prescribed doses. On medical prescription only.
