Indication
- Relief of cough associated with excess viscous mucus - Symptomatic relief of productive cough - Relief of throat irritation in respiratory infections
Ingredients
- Dried ivy leaf (Hedera helix) extract 38.47 mg/5 mL
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 5-7.5 mL three times daily; children 6-12 years: 5 mL three times daily; children 2-6 years: 2.5 mL three times daily, or as directed.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Allergic reactions (rare)
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 2 years without medical advice
- Use with caution in patients with gastritis or gastric ulcer
- Consult a doctor if cough persists more than 7 days or worsens
- Avoid in known hypersensitivity to ivy or plants of the Araliaceae family
