Indication

- Anxiety disorders - Panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia - Short-term relief of severe anxiety

Ingredients

• Alprazolam 0.5 mg

Direction

Take orally as prescribed; start at the lowest effective dose and titrate gradually. Reduce dose in the elderly and in hepatic impairment. Do not stop abruptly.

• Dizziness and light
• headedness
• Fatigue and impaired coordination
• Memory impairment
• Dependence with prolonged use

Precautions

• Risk of dependence
• tolerance and withdrawal
• benzodiazepine misuse risk
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants (especially opioids)
• May impair driving and use of machines
• Caution in respiratory insufficiency
• hepatic impairment and the elderly
