Indication
- Short-term treatment of insomnia in adults - Difficulty falling asleep - Disabling or distressing sleep disturbance
Ingredients
- Zolpidem tartrate 10 mg
Direction
Take one 10 mg tablet immediately before bedtime; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. Do not take with or immediately after a meal.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and dizziness
- Headache
- Memory impairment (amnesia)
- Nausea
- Next
- day sedation
Precautions
- For short
- term use only
- risk of tolerance and dependence
- Do not combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants
- May cause complex sleep behaviours such as sleep
- walking or sleep
- driving
- Avoid in severe liver impairment
- sleep apnoea and myasthenia gravis
