Indication
Anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, generalized anxiety, muscle contractures.
Ingredients
- Diazepam
Direction
Adult: average 5 to 15 mg per day. In psychiatry: 20 to 40 mg per day. Functional and somatic manifestations accompanying anxiety: 5 to 20 mg per day. Children: 1/2 mg per kg of body weight; use in children should remain exceptional. Follow doctor's prescription.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- fatigue
- muscle weakness.
- Dizziness
- confusion
- memory impairment.
- Possible paradoxical reactions such as agitation in some patients.
- Stop and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Use only on prescription
- do not exceed prescribed dose.
- Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery due to risk of drowsiness.
- Risk of dependence with prolonged use
- do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
- Use with caution in elderly
- pregnant or breastfeeding women
- and in renal or hepatic impairment.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop and seek advice if irritation or allergy occurs.
