Indication
For the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscular and joint pain, and for the reduction of fever and symptoms of cold and flu.
Ingredients
- Ibuprofen USP 400 mg
Direction
As prescribed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 1 tablet three times a day, preferably with food. Do not exceed 1200 mg in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset
- indigestion
- nausea.
- Stomach pain or heartburn.
- Dizziness or headache.
- Skin rash or itching.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe reactions
- bronchospasm or signs of bleeding occur.
Precautions
- Do not use if you have a history of asthma
- urticaria or other allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs (bronchospasm may be precipitated).
- Use with caution in patients with stomach ulcer
- kidney
- liver or heart disease.
- Avoid use during the last trimester of pregnancy.
- Take with food to reduce stomach upset.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist for more than 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain.
