Axcel Cetirizine 5 mg/5 ml

Indication

For the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, postnasal discharge, nasal pruritus, ocular pruritus, and tearing; also for the relief of chronic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine Dihydrochloride

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 ml (10 mg) once daily. Children 6-11 years: 5 ml (5 mg) once daily or 2.5 ml twice daily. Children 2-5 years: 2.5 ml (2.5 mg) once daily. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• May include drowsiness

• dry mouth
• or fatigue. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any allergic or severe reaction occurs.

Precautions

• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected
• do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
