Indication

Treatment of gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and reduction of risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in critically ill patients. Immediate-release formulation for rapid acid control.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole
• Sodium bicarbonate

Direction

Adults: empty contents of one sachet (40 mg) into 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30 mL) of water to form a suspension. Stir well and drink immediately, then refill cup with water and drink. Do not use other liquids or foods. Use as directed by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea
• constipation
• nausea
• or flatulence.

• swelling
• or other allergic reactions occur.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
