Indication
Broad spectrum dermatological agent. Indicated for: (1) Allergic inflammatory skin disease (eczema, dermatitis, diaper rash, intertrigo); (2) Fungal skin infections (tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea facialis, tinea capitis, tinea cruris, tinea barbae); (3) Tinea versicolor; (4) Cutaneous candidiasis; (5) Secondary infection of gentamicin-sensitive bacteria.
Ingredients
- Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg/g (0.1%)
- Econazole nitrate 10 mg/g (1%)
- Gentamicin sulfate 1 mg/g (potency)
Direction
Apply a suitable amount of this drug to the affected area one to several times daily as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- May cause local skin reactions such as burning
- itching
- dryness
- redness
- irritation
- or contact dermatitis.
- Prolonged use may cause skin atrophy
- telangiectasia
- striae
- pigmentation changes
- or secondary infection.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any abnormal symptom occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription
- only topical combination — use only under medical supervision.
- Do not apply to large areas of the body or for prolonged periods without medical supervision (risk of corticosteroid systemic absorption and skin atrophy).
- Avoid contact with the eyes
- mucous membranes and broken or infected skin not covered by the indications.
- Do not use on children for prolonged periods or under occlusive dressings unless directed by a doctor.
- Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly needed and as directed by a doctor.
- Inform your doctor of any known allergy to triamcinolone
- econazole
- gentamicin or other aminoglycosides.
