Indication

Adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Side effects

• Weight gain
• edema
• headache
• upper respiratory infection.
• Hypoglycemia (when combined with other antidiabetics).
• Stop the medicine and contact a doctor if jaundice
• severe swelling
• or signs of heart failure occur.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• or in patients with heart failure
• liver disease
• or bladder cancer history.
• Stop and seek medical advice if signs of liver problems or fluid retention occur.
