Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Glycemic control in adults
Ingredients
- Glimepiride
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
- Dizziness and headache
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Temporary visual disturbances
- Skin rash or itching
Precautions
- Risk of severe hypoglycemia
- Monitor blood glucose levels regularly
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption
- Caution with renal or hepatic impairment
- History of sulfonamide allergy
