Esome IV 40 mg

Indication

Proton pump inhibitor used to reduce stomach acid in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers and related acid-related conditions when oral therapy is not possible.

Ingredients

• Esomeprazole sodium equivalent to esomeprazole 40 mg

Direction

Reconstitute with 5 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride solution for injection and administer by intravenous injection or infusion as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• abdominal pain
• diarrhea
• nausea or injection site reactions.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs. The reconstituted solution should be administered within 12 hours after preparation.
