Indication
- Urinary tract infections - Respiratory tract infections - Skin and structure infections - Bone and joint infections - Infectious diarrhea - Typhoid fever
Ingredients
- Ciprofloxacin
Direction
Take orally with a full glass of water, usually every 12 hours. Avoid taking with dairy products or calcium-fortified juices alone.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- Avoid in patients with myasthenia gravis
- May cause peripheral neuropathy
- Avoid taking with antacids or iron
- Risk of QT prolongation
- Avoid excessive sunlight exposure
