Amlocor 5 mg

Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevention of chest pain (angina) caused by coronary artery disease.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine (as Amlodipine Besilate) 5 mg

Direction

Usually one tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician. Swallow with water. Do not exceed the indicated dose.

Side effects

• Commonly may cause ankle or leg swelling (oedema)
• headache
• flushing
• dizziness
• tiredness and palpitations. If side effects persist or are severe
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Use with caution in severe low blood pressure
• severe liver impairment and heart failure. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
