Omebrin 20 mg

Indication

A proton pump inhibitor (acid reducer) used to treat frequent heartburn and conditions caused by excess stomach acid, such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers. Presented as one 14-day course of treatment.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole BP 20 mg (as enteric
• coated pellets)

Direction

To be taken orally as directed by a physician, usually one capsule daily before a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not chew or crush. Suitable for adults and children above 1 year and 10 kg as directed.

Side effects

• May cause headache

• constipation
• abdominal pain
• nausea or flatulence.
