Indication
- Parkinson's disease - Drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms - Muscle stiffness and tremors - Postencephalitic parkinsonism
Ingredients
- Trihexyphenidyl Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally with food to reduce stomach upset. Usually administered three to four times daily as prescribed.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Dizziness
- Constipation
- Urinary retention
- Mental confusion or nervousness
Precautions
- Narrow
- angle glaucoma
- Prostatic hypertrophy or urinary retention
- Myasthenia gravis
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Obstructive disease of gastrointestinal tract
- Monitor for heat stroke risk
