Indication
A sterile, single-use safety medical device used to introduce fluids into the circulatory system during infusion therapy. Indicated for the infusion of I.V. solutions (to maintain hydration or correct dehydration when the patient cannot take enough fluid by mouth) and for intermittent intravenous drug administration. The 24G size is generally used for children; 14G to 20G are used for adults and 26G for neonates. Use is restricted to a qualified doctor or a trained paramedic.

Manufactured and tested in accordance with EN ISO 10555-1 & 5. Carefully select and aseptically prepare the site. Select a suitable size of I.V. cannula and inspect visually that the package is intact. Remove the cannula from the sterile packing and remove its needle cover. Grip the cannula from the injection port cap and the projection on the hub. Perform venepuncture and check for flash back of blood in the flash back chamber. Advance the catheter into the vein while simultaneously withdrawing the needle. Never try to reinsert a partially or completely withdrawn needle. Withdraw the needle completely while pressing the vein, and discard the needle in an appropriate sharps container. Connect to the I.V. infusion set line and cover the puncture site with a sterile dressing. Drugs can be injected with a syringe without needle through the integrated injection port after removing the port cap; close the port cap after use. Recommended maximum duration of use: 96 hours.

- Undesirable effects that may be caused by use of the device include allergy
- inflammation and swelling. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you experience any unexpected reaction.

- discard after use. Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the materials
- for administration of highly viscous fluids
- or for large
- volume blood transfusion. Do not use after the expiry date
- or if the package is damaged or has been unintentionally opened. Do not re

- use immediately after opening the packaging. Consult a doctor before use in pregnant and breastfeeding women
