Indication

COLERGIS (cetirizine) is a second-generation antihistamine indicated for the symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg (half tablet) twice daily or 10 mg once daily. Administer with or without food.

Side effects

• Somnolence (drowsiness).
• Headache.
• Dry mouth.
• Fatigue.
• Dizziness (uncommon).

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment
• dose reduction required.
• May cause drowsiness
• caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants.
• Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
